Custantinu Rocco serves as the estate guardian at Fondo Paradiso, managing day-to-day security and operations and presenting himself as a loyal protector to Matteo Morello and his family. In truth, Rocco is a double agent, secretly working for Don Adrianu Giammona. Behind a façade of loyalty, he orchestrates sabotage, spreads unrest, and schemes to force Morello to relinquish the estate to Giammona’s control. Rocco’s duplicity drives much of the tension and violence on the estate, escalating until betrayal is exposed.
In the pivotal moment, Rocco meets a violent end: he is executed in front of Don Giammona when the wounded Antonio, seeking justice and retribution, fires a lupara shotgun and kills Rocco with a shot to the head.
